Nate is 18 Months Old!!

I took Nate for his 18 month check up yesterday and was reminded of how FAST my children are growing, Elissa will be 9 in exactly 16 days, she reminds me everyday of how many days til her birthday. I tell her to slow down and not to be in such a hurry to grow up, its just my selfish way of wanting to keep her little. Nate's 18 month well check went really well..hehe..according to the doctor him getting into every single thing in my house is completely "normal" and that it should be viewed as a wonderful thing, I asked her if she wanted to come to my house for a week and see how wonderful it is..haha..He is on the small side according to them, but I don't care, he's my big little man and he's perfect to me. He learns so many new things every single day its such a blessing to be able to see it and know that I am teaching him all the little things he needs to know. The Big thing he is doing these days is learning how to use a spoon and fork, which is by far the messiest but most fun thing to do yet. He's very stubborn, he won't let me feed him anymore, he has to do it no matter how long it takes him, I still have no idea where his stubborness comes from..hehe...(no comments from my peanut gallery please). Anyway, I just wanted to remind you all to cherish your babies, they grow so fast....you blink and a year has gone by...

The NEW and improved "fort"

Thank you so much grandma and grandpa Bush for providing the kids a Nathen "proof" fort, this one is sure to last alot longer than the others :). As you can see its big enough for even me to get into. Elissa loves it so much she has decided to sleep in it every night for the rest of the summer...we'll see how long that lasts..hehe..

Hello Tomorrow! My New AVON adventure

I have been searching for quite some time now for something to do from home, aside from the regular Mom and Wife duties, and one day as I was watching some show on some channel and I saw an ad with Reese Witherspoon in it, promoting AVON! I have always liked AVON stuff, their foot products are my favorite, anyway when I saw Reese doing a lipstick commercial I decided I wanted to give it a shot, so I went to avon.com and signed up to have someone contact me about the business opportunity. I met with my district Unit Leader and a former sales rep that wanted to start up again and drank coffee and learned how to become an independent sales rep for THE company for women :). I am an eRepresentative as well as a regular sales rep, I am excited to be a part of something again, I've tried so many different things, but never quite believed in what I was selling, this I believe in. So if you like AVON then look no further stop by my site and check out the current awesome deals, contact me through my site if you have any questions or would like to be added to my email campaign list, just visit http://www.youravon.com/mesabush

Nate and his new cleaning skill

So my son is such a helper, most days he helps unload the dishwasher and on grocery days he helps me put things away, well things within his reach that is. Last week he made another mess with his Cheez-Its which is not unusual, so I bust out the "dust buster" or mini-vac I believe is what they are now-a-days :) and got to work, well low and behold he decided to take over....take a look at my big helper....

Elissa's Visit

My little (well not so little anymore) 8 almost 9 year old daughter came to visit recently, we had so much fun with her and were very sad to see her go, but she missed her friends and still had school to attend. I'm very excited because she will be coming back in a month or so to spend her summer vacation with us! While she was here we did some fun things, we made cookies, went to see Horton Hears A Who! which by the way for those who haven't seen it you really should, it was an awesome movie, there was the cutest little old lady there by herself laughing hysterically right along with us and I do believe there were more adults than kids in the theater :). We also did some shopping and watched Enchanted more than a few times. She was such a help with Nate, they had a blast chasing each other and dancing around the living room. She was also a huge help with cleaning, she made sure the living room was nice and tidy and she also kept her room very clean, which was soooooo nice! Here are a few pictures of my sweet girl :)
